CHAPTER 2

"No!"
Hissary screamed, or at least she thought she yelled, it was more of a whisper. Purrfecta stared at her sister, looking a bit shocked.
"Your gay!? Why didn't you--"
"No! Don't say anything!" Hissary began to cry, standing up from her seat.
"Hissary! Don't--"
The young mocha furred werecat bolted towards the cafeteria doors, not looking to stop for anyone. She ran down the halls of the school, others watched as the young werecat ran passed, crying at the same time. The dark, short haired beauty ran to the only place she knew where it would be quiet.

The young werecat put her back against the wall, sliding down ever so slowly.
Her hair was a mess from rubbing her claws through it, her eyes bloodshot from crying, tears still ran down her dark, chocolate brown striped cheeks.  The room in which she occupied, the gloomy bell tower, it had a kind of dark feel to it...on this dreadfully, dreary day.
"What am I going to do..." she asked herself, she cried a little more, rubbing the palms of her hands against her teary closed eyes.  Until a peculiar thought crossed her mind,
"Who put my deepest secret in the Gory Gazette!?" she repeated the thought out loud.
"...You'll be surprised who the let write the articles in that stupid newspaper..." hissed a unknown voice. Hissary gasped, startled by the hissing voice,
"Who are you!?"
"Who am I?" the unknown, unwanted visitor giggled, coming nearer to the crying werecat.
"Who am I, dear?  I may just be your worst fear." the visitors blonde hair bounced as she threw her head back, following with a menacing laughter. Her insect-like wings fluttered in delight, her tail flicking back and forth.
"All joking aside. I am called by the name of Seraphina...Seraphina Gwenillan." Seraphina gave a menacing smirk, looking down upon the young crying, werecat.
"Are you the one who wrote that article?" Hissary asked, her eyebrows furrowed in angry, even though her eyes held sadness...and maybe a little bit of fear, as well.
"Who's to say I did?" Seraphina remarked, her eyes held mischief, her grin grew into a wider smirk.
"Give me a straight answer." Hissary replied, getting up facing the dark menace, she was slightly shorter than the skinny Aria. "Did you write that article?"
The grey skinned menace laughed, she raised a gloved hand and wiped a falling tear from the young werecat's cheek.
"Oh dear, not knowing is part of the fun! I don't want to ruin the joy we are having here..."
Hissary jerked when the gloved hand touched her warm cheek, but she stood her ground.
"Tell me." the mocha furred werecat growled, becoming more frustrated with the skinny Aria.
Seraphina sighed,
"Fine. If you want to ruin the fun." she pouted, crossing her arms, she continued.
"I did write that article...didn't you just love it?" her expression changed to a challenging look.
Hissary was shocked by the Aria's question, "Love it? Are you mad!? You just told the whole school my deepest secret!"
Seraphina's smirk returned,
"For now dear, it is just a rumor. It is your choice to answer the question...is it true?"
Hissary lay silenced, unsure of what to say.
"Well, dear. Is it?" she asked again, her tone persistent.
Hissary stood there, her mouth gapped opened, the expression very obvious on the girl's wet face.
"...I-I don't know."
"Oh, you poor thing, trying to find yourself?" She said softly, yet it sounded sarcastic and mocking. The werecat looked into the Aria's eyes, tears forming once again.
"I bet your sister isn't much help either, with setting you up on blind dates with ghouls you don't know of. Too bad, they aren't....feminine dates." She added, letting out a powerful laugh.  Hissary cried even more, wishing to escape this evil menace.
"Oh, did I upset you dear?" Seraphina mockingly asked, "Oh you poor baby. It must be so hard living the life you do."
"You don't even know me!" Hissary cried out, backing that exclamation up with a subtle, yet deep-throated growl.
"Oo, look who just got tough!" The skinny, grey skinned Aria acted surprised, but she quickly returned to wearing that smirk-like-grin. Hissary teary eyes looked at Seraphina, a look of pure angry on her face.
"Get out of my way!" she screamed, pushing Seraphina out of the way. She marched out of the bell tower, her tail flicking in frustration.
"Oh dear, my little playmate has run off. Guess I'll have to schedule another playdate then..." Seraphina's smirk grew wider, she watched the little mocha furred werecat marched off. She truly did enjoy ruining others precious lives.
