BUT SADLY I HAD TO TAKE A QUICK PHOTO OF HER, BETTER PHOTO TO COME.
ANYWAY
This be Maryland. Maryland Storm, daughter of the Merrow! In teh future bio, art, etc. will come for her
This doll is made from the body of a B&&W SS Frankie && the head && arms/hands of a CAM Werewolf. Face makeup && etc. painted with acrylics. Sculpy clay used to attach the body to the mermaid tail, mermaid tail is from an old mermaid Barbie && was painted with acrylics.
"MERROW The Irish equivalent of the mermaid, and like them they are beautiful, though they have fish tails and are webbed between the fingers. They are greatly feared because they announce the coming of storms, but are considered gentler than most mermaids and often fall in love with mortal men. The offspring of these marriages are sometimes said to be covered with scales, just as the descendants of the Seal People are said to have webbed fingers. Sometimes they come ashore in the form of small hornless cattle but, in their proper shape, they wear red, feathered caps, by means of which they are able to travel underwater. If these are stolen, they cannot return to the sea again in much the same way as Selkies cannot if their skins are stolen. Although the female merrow is beautiful, the males are very ugly, with green faces and bodies, sharp red noses and piggy eyes. They seem, however, to be generally pleasent in character." ---The Element Encyclopedia of Magical Creatures by John && Caitlin Matthews
